Hancock County Public Library

 

Barb Roark, Assistant Director of Hancock County Public Library reported on the Library's 2015 results and the goals for 2016.

In 2015:  

• Over One Million items were checked 
• Over 400,000 people visited the library
• 2,000 people downloaded the library app  
• The library ranked No. 5 among small employers in an annual survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics for The Indianapolis Star.
• Raised over $28,000 during Hancock County Community Foundation's 

In 2016 the library hope to:

• Maintain Over One Million checkouts for the third year
• Have 500,000 visits
• Have 5,000 app downloads

The Library has 55 employees, 152 volunteers, and a board of 7.
