Dr. Stephanie Kinnaman, Medical Missions

Dr. Stephanie Kinnaman, Rotarian Vocational Training Team,Team Leader  
Dr. Stephanie Kinnaman, Greenfield physician and Greenfield-Central graduate spoke to Kiwanis about the Rotary funded medical missions to Jordan and Uganda.  In 1974. Rotary started the Gift of Life medical mission program that brought up to 5 children a year to Riley Hospital for heart surgery.    In 2007, a team from Indiana began traveling to Amman, Jordan to perform the surgeries there.   The March 2017 trip marked the 20th trip and the 200th child to be operated on.   Since 2000, 382 children have been operated on, 68 at Riley and 314 abroad.,
