St, Michael's Girl's Club

St. Michael's Catholic Church Girls Club told Kiwanis about their service organization and their projects.  The Club has levels for grades 5th through 8th grades and each team is mentor and led by high school teenagers.   The goal of the club is to be Christ centered through service.   

Service projects included:
  • A carnival for a Women's and Children's shelter in Anderson
  • A clothing project for Life Choices in Greenfield
  • Bell ringing for the Salvation Army including singing carols while ringing.
  • Visiting elderly patients at a nursing home.
  • Working at Gleaners Food Bank and Kenneth Butler Soup Kitchen
  • Making Birthday Bags for the Hancock County Food Pantry.
  • Doing Yard Work for Senior Citizens.
The group receives funds for it's projects through sponsorship's from the church, businesses and individuals.
