Greenfield Kiwanis President Scott Kleine stands next to the Greenfield-Central Moonbuggy, Dark Matter that competed in The 20th Annual Great Moonbuggy Race
held April 25 - 27, 2013 in Huntsville, Alabama, at the U.S. Space
& Rocket Center. Students were required to design a vehicle that
addresses a series of engineering problems that are similar to problems
faced by the original Moonbuggy team.
Kiwanis
members contributed $431 to the expenses of the competition. Scott
Kleine, Kiwanis President, race car designer and machinist provided
technical assistance to the team.
