Bennie Eaton; Bobby Keen, President and CEO Hancock Regional Hospital; and Brenda Eaton.
55 Greenfield Kiwanians met at the Hancock Regional Hospital
and toured the recently opened Hospice Unit.
The new unit provides comfortable private rooms staffed by trained
hospice professionals. The tours were
conducted by Jeannie Crowe, Hospice Coordinator; Kristi Barber, Executive
Director of the Hospital Foundation; and Allyson Smith, Foundation Program
Assistant. The tours included the family
dining area where meals can be prepared and eaten; a family gathering room with
television, fireplace, and comfortable seating that resembles a family room; a
library, a children’s play area, conference and office areas.
The Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation has received
several major gifts to assist in funding the development of the Hospice
Unit. For information on giving opportunities
you can call Kristi Barber at 317.468.4583.
